Standalone Novel

Maybe, Definitely

Twenty-two things to do. Nineteen checked off. One sister to find.

Gus Rennick makes a living keeping other people's things. When he cuts the lock on a long-forgotten storage unit, he finds something of his own: a list he wrote with his sister when they were children.

Frankie left. Gus stayed. In the years between, she has crossed the American West, checking off their plans in different inks, leaving pieces of her life in the margins. Three boxes remain empty.

Now Gus is loading his truck and following her trail—from Colorado canyons to the high Sierra, through awkward reunions, bad jokes, and everything they have spent years finding ways not to say. There is a mountain waiting at the end of the road. Getting there may be the easiest part.

A standalone novel about siblings, grief, sobriety, and what it takes to become a family again.
